Overview

A first-person survival deduction game created with a 4-member team in Unity 6. Players survive a long winter night by identifying approaching creatures—sheep, deer, or wolves in disguise—while managing bonfire fuel, torch light, and villager trust.

Design Goal

  • Create a high-pressure identification loop where silhouettes, eye shine, and movement cues matter.
  • Integrate resource management (bonfire fuel) directly into deduction difficulty.
  • Express the theme of “trust and responsibility” through mechanics that punish misjudgment.

Challenge

How do we design a system where the player must:
  1. Identify creatures through our tutorial
  1. Make binary high-stakes calls of (Wolf/Sheep)
  1. Won’t be overwhelming or boring
